Why Perfectly Produce
Perfectly Produce is a 'how-to' resource that allow individuals to realistically obtain three primary goals:
1. Increase nutrient density- daily
- Nutritionist developed recipes & prep guides that educate on how to conveniently get more nutrition from meal & snacks : learn the sources and roles of bioactive compounds - like luetin, phenols, & flavonoids - naturally found in food
2. Learn correct portion sizes
- Ensures adequate nutrition while managing weight to decrease susceptibility to chronic disease risk
3. Stabilize blood glucose
- A simplified exchange system is used to properly portion recipes to balance carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats at each meal (appropriate for diabetics) - resulting in increased satiety and feeling full at each meal - giving you control over your hunger
These goals are achieved by concentrating on functional weekday cooking and simplifying the meal preparation process, thereby, facilitating greater compliance to dietary recommendations advocating nutrient density and significant increases in current produce consumption.
