Why Nutrition is Important (critical really)

Eat with Purpose – Why We Have to CARE

Cells… They are what ‘it’ is all for

It’s Time to Rest

Unlike a badly sprained ankle, we don’t recognize, properly treat, and heal the physical injury that excess weight, elevated blood sugar, and poor lifestyle choices cause inside of our bodies.  We can’t see the bleeding, inflammation, and developing scar tissue, but that’s exactly what’s happening.

If you had a sprained ankle, you wouldn’t ignore the pain, visible swelling, and bruising.  You would care for it to reduce the inflammation, and you would rest and nourish it until it was functioning properly again.

Sadly, our internal organs – those responsible for life – aren’t given the same consideration.

We continue to eat in excess burdening our digestive systems and livers creating inflammation and intolerances, we raise our blood pressure, which scrapes and cuts our blood vessels, and we habitually don’t provide our immune system and brain with quality sleep to do jobs like screen for cancer, regulate blood sugar, and adapt to stress.

Your cells work selflessly every day to maintain life – your life – and it’s time to make decisions that help them rather than harm them. If you don’t, it’s like running a marathon on that sprained ankle – it won’t be able to support you the entire way, and you will cause permanent damage.

Fortunately, you can start the healing process today.

One of the most important things for you to remember as you start this process is that your body is never working against you

Your body is composed of trillions of individual cells, which work selflessly, 24 hours a day, to try to correct – or benefit from – the lifestyle choices you make.

When you consistently make poor choices, your cells are forced between taking care of themselves (scanning for dangerous and damaged cells – like cancer – and healing oxidative damage) and taking care of you (coping with chronic stress and processing the drinks and fried foods from dinner).

And they, with admirable loyalty, will always prioritize you.  Until the choice is no longer theirs… and years of continuous neglect and overwork from poor lifestyle choices result in their inability to work – which you will experience as disease.

Cells are what ‘it’ is all for – real food, nutrients, daily activity, stress reduction, and life balance.

Cells are the common thread that influences everything.

If you give them what they need to do their jobs, each day, they will, in turn, give you what you need – energy, creativity, and a higher quality of life.
